{An Awakening}You have suddenly received a mysterious letter from someone only known as "incogneato". Incogneato has invited you to join a legion known as the NAPSFRILLS League, a league of heroes who know the power of SAVEing, allowing you to make SAVE states. {SAVE function}This power is basically a save state function, but when you use a SAVE state you retain every item or company you have on you.
For example, Superplayer might SAVE on post 121. So when he wants to, he can return to the events on 121. However, any world changes will be lost unless he SAVEs before traveling to #121, but say, if he got a flute on post 163 he'll still have it unless he put it away, and a party member recruited on 243 will still be in his party.
Ender chests are not affected by SAVEing, so if Superplayer put the flute in an ender chest on 231, when he travels to 121 he can go to another ender chest and get the flute back. But in some areas, ender chests are rare or nonexistent.
You can place SAVEs on any post, and have infinite amounts of SAVEs. SAVEs will be tracked in the OP.
{Combat} {Elements}Red (fire + heat). Weak to blue and pink. Blue (water and ice) Weak to yellow, purple, green. Green (bio-weapons, nature) Weak to orange, purple, red. Yellow (lightning and wind) Weak to brown and black. White (holy) Weak to black and red. Black (dark) Weak to rainbow, white, pink and orange. Rainbow (light) Weak to black, grey, and brown. Orange (industrial technology) Weak to green, white and black. Brown (earth) Weak to orange, purple, blue, green. Purple (poison/toxic) Weak to white, red, rainbow. Pink (love and emotion) Weak to red, yellow, grey. Grey (physical) Weak to pink, blue, rainbow.
Weaknesses mean double damage.
{Stats}Stats:
LV: SL: Strength: How hard you hit Dexterity: skill to perform techniques Magical power: Potency of elements Faith: Resistance against elements, healing capacity. Hardiness: Physical defense Guts: Capabilities to do non-Fight actions, such as running. Also a speed stat. Intelligence: influences decisions STAB: Default is 1.5x.
These values can be modified by leveling up or equipping gear.
If you kill something, you gain EXP, which past thresholds, increase your LV stat. When LV levels up, you gain a full-on level-up package of certain stats increasing for the level.
If you do quests, you gain souls, and you can pay with souls to increase a separate stat called soul levels. When you increase soul levels, you get points usable for increasing stats only the way you want it.
STAB is a bonus gained when you attack with elements that are the same color as your innate color.
{Basic combat}In a battle, you can choose to Fight, Act or Spare each turn. Fight throws you into combat, Act lets you do other things with the enemies than fight, Spare allows you to avoid combat.
When you Fight, you can do physical attacks, or use Techs/elements, or use items for combat. Act depends on the enemy. You can talk with them, or maybe give them something, or maybe pull a nearby lever, among so many other possibilities. Sparing can consist of giving mercy for the opponent, or fleeing from battle. You can flee from even bosses unless you're trapped somewhere. Attacks that leave room for countering can be countered. These are signified by the attack being initiated but not yet having connected to the target.
{Basic magic} Spells are consumable but reusable. This means that if you have 5 copies of a fire spell, you can only cast it 5 times per battle.
