you're nearing the end os an experimental programme testing out a new weapon, the deckhand, and it's ability to alter attack and defence charicteristics of it's user based on the cards loaded within it's deck slots, as your final exam approches, some.... uh... evil collector... guy wants to turn everyone into cards for his collection. With deckhand in... urm... hand, you vow to build the greatest battle card deck you can and put a stop to the collector!
